Cimone is a filmmaker based in Atlanta, GA who has written and produced several independent film productions, outside of her own. After reading an article about a noted female director in Atlanta, Cimone decided to take a leap of faith and pursue a career in film. In 2015 Cimone attended Chattahoochee Technical College majoring in television production. After a near death experience causing her to withdraw from school, she wrote while in recovery. In 2017 Cimone directed and produced her first short film “Impaired” focused on sending a message to the youth about staying aware of their surroundings. Short film “Royal Heights” followed behind that which will be completed and released in 2021. Cimone also created a music video concept to Maxwell’s Shame song centered around youth violence and black excellence. Cimone has worked on several productions of other Atlanta filmmakers varying positions from writer, producer, production assistant, set builder, and has served as background talent. Being on set for her is the best high anyone could have. Her dreams are to write and create in all film genres and create content that will compete on a Hollywood level, while inspiring others to reach for their dreams. Recently, Cimone has written on various feature projects slated for production sometime this year and next year, while finishing up writing her very own feature films, with the hopes of going into production in 2021.
